Anying holds dual masters degrees, one in TESOL and the other in International Trade and Logistics. She has been recognized as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) in the UK. Currently, she holds the position of a senior EAP lecturer at XJTLUs English Language Centre, where she has dedicated over a decade of service. Her research pursuits encompass several areas of interest, including motivating reluctant students to engage in communication within an EAP classroom, designing EAP curricula that cater to the needs of high-level students from diverse disciplines, strategies for vocabulary acquisition, and exploring the disparities between native and non-native English-speaking (NES/NNES) teachers.
